I will be carrying MiKelman's new 2001 fashion line. I have put the pics up on my site and there is special pre-order pricing in place through 8/15/01. I will have the dealer exclusive Showstopper fashion done in red and black faux leather as well as a small supply of Showstopper, Opening Night, Glamazon, Golden Illusion and True Blue in stock towards the end of next week. The redhead is the Danish head mold and has just a trace of a smile, characteristic of the mold. Hope this info is helpful. I'm not positive exactly which photo you are referring to here, the ones on my site or the link that Crystal posted, Ami. If it is the link that Crystal posted, she does appear to be the early production sample Hispanic. If it is the pics currently on my site, I asked Jason the same question last week. He said that doll was an early version of the Swedish Cover Girl Candi, although I don't see the smile associated with the Swedish head mold. I'll add this request to collector input that I receive to pass along to Jason. As far as I know there aren't any plans to produce her at this time. Sort of, I say because I was fortunate enough to acquire the original counter sample of this doll. There are 2 differences between this doll and the mass produced one. The first is the hair color. They went with platinum blonde and the second is the lip color. The mass produced doll has red lips, not frosty pink. I wanted to share the head shot with you because I don't think the pic on my site does the doll justice. I hope this head shot will give you a much better idea of how good the paint is but please visualize the aforementioned changes when you look at it. I'll leave the link up for a few days in case there is anyone else you want to share this picture with.
