Candi in Caramel (the color)

Hi all, I'm moving to a new home and am packing up my gals. I'm not letting the movers touch them; going to carry them all myself. I'm nuts, there are so many boxes, but I can't help myself, I'd worry about careless guys. Hi Robin and everyone, Thanks for all the comments on my number 3. I thought that was a pretty good choice for her. I have A LOT of vintage dolls as that is the real focus of my collection. 4 ponytails, a couple of bubbles, a bend leg Midge and an American girl ( the last two were childhood dolls) Lost count of the mod dolls, but the highlights include my childhood black Francie, and a Truly Scrumptious I just got at convention. Also got one of those cool Color Magic torsos at convention, but haven't had time to bleach the Malibu legs for it. Right now I have a Swirl and a Miss Barbie too, but am planning on selling those one of these days if Ebay prices go up ever. I also have slews of vintage clothes. That is my favorite part, and not quite as expensive. It also helps that I am not a fanatic about condition. I am perfectly content to clean and repair dolls and clothes, and my budget is pretty limited, so it is a good combination. I just took a mod dress that was a good candidate for a bar rag, took the whole thing apart, cleaned and fraychecked it, trimmed the worst of the frayed stuff off, and put it all back together again. Took me a couple of hours, but I had a good time, and the dress only cost me a dollar. Depending on what you want, it can be had for a bargain with some persistence. Skippers, Kens and Midges are easy to come by. A Midge is a great first doll, as you won't spend as much as you would for a Barbie, and she can still wear all the great clothes. Mod Barbies aren't that expensive either if you are willing to live with some minor flaws. If you want to e-mail me privately with what you want, I may have some, and I would sell them very reasonably, and you wouldn't have to go through ebay. That goes for anyone else as well! I have a couple of bubbles, a Midge, several of the guys, Skippers, Skooter, cases and clothes. I also have a malibu francie with swimsuit and towel that I would sell really cheap if you want to do the Francie clothes thing. Ok, I will shut up now. Can you tell I REALLY love vintage? I just took off the bows for the arms, and the clear straps. The gloves and earrings are from the Candi black and red accessory set. trouble viewing Integrity Pictures

Hi Pat, I use the Netscapte Browser, so when I want to view the site, I have to switch to Internet Explorer, also I had to download the Macro Flash that do not remember the actual name, but it is on their website. HI All, For the hunting guys, check out cabelas.com They are usually in their catolog, esp this time of year, so should be on the web site. I liked the accessories too, but they were a little scary, but then so is my hubby when he gets back from hunting. LOL I have seen some of the guys from Big Lots. Some of them are pretty nice, but those hands are terrible. I did pick up some cool clothes a few years ago from the soldiers of the world sets, when they did George Washington, and a couple of others. Those outfits fit some of the cool action figures. I have the ruffled shirt, and black pants on my Ares from a couple of years ago, and he looks very romantic in them. I don't think they are doing any of the historic ones right now, but they are worth keeping an eye on. I am just getting ready to get the girls out for Christmas. I always do a decorating the tree one, and I put some of the small kids there with some of the cute miniature toys out right now. I also get out the set from a couple of years ago with all the cute toys, the gingerbread house etc. I was thinking about picking up some of the tiny lights that actually work that are out now at the craft stores in the villiage stuff. We shall see. I got the pink Barbie tree last year, and can't wait to set that up. I had been putting my ornaments on a vintage mini aluminum tree, which was cute too. I also get out a couple of my candis and dress them in the drop dead Christmas gowns for on top of the TV. Hubby appreciates the cleavage. LOL I just got my beloved number 3 changed for Christmas, and will post her pics soon. (Can you tell how much I love this doll?) I will post pics of the other things as well, as I get them set up. I practice "creeping Christmas" around here for a couple of weeks, as small things get snuck into the decorating until I go copletely nuts two weeks before Christmas.
