I don't know what happened but she just disappeared quite a while back. Integrity had to fulfill some of her orders if I remember correctly. I had asked Jim Faraone (IFDC) a while back if he knew anything but he said he didn't. He figured she would appear eventually but that's never happened. Oddly enough their phone number still works but it just gives a message they can't answer the phone and to try again later, with no option to leave a message. This is one of those mysteries in dolly land where someone just up and disappears with no rumors about what happened or anything. At least that I know of. She was my dealer for years... Hi Melissa and all! Thanks for the heads up on the article. I did the email interview a while ago, so didn't know it was out yet. May have to go find me a copy of Dolls! LOL Grayson just turned 11, ACK. How did that happen? I am busy doing the mommy volunteer thing all the time. I coach his Lego Robotics team, serve on the fund raising committee ( just stepped down as chair of that one after 4 years) and work in the library. Our school was moved last summer so I and two other parents, spent well over 100 hours each just organizing and putting all the books back on shelves. What a job. Haven't had as much time to work on dolls as I would like. I have moved away from a lot of the Fashion Royalty girls and into some of the Japanese things like Momoko and Misaki. I like the sweeter look of these dolls. I have to admit that I admire Jason's talent, but I am sort of over the high fashion hard edged look of his dolls right now. ( as well as the price point, remember the price on the first ones?) Every once in a while I still play with a Candi doll or two. I never can seem to weed them out, as they are still really fun. Had someone send me a couple last Christmas in a gift exchange, and I was still thrilled to get them. LOL Hope everyone else is still doing well. Pipe up, would love to hear from everyone! I'm still around...

Oh my!!! I'm glad this list and some of the members are still here, too. Over the past 10 years, we have been gifted with 6 (yes, six) great-grandchildren and by the end of December will have 8 total. Especially good news is that our only grandDaughter is having her first and it's a girl. An unbroken string of womyn for 8 generations!! As the family genealogist AND a rabid feminist, I'm ecstatic!!! LOL. All of this also means we have had several graduations and weddings and one hand fasting that I "officiated" for one of the grandsons. We, hubby and I, have also had several losses: all of our parents are gone, the family matriarch, and a beloved cousin and various and sundry others. And life goes on. I no longer collect, space and money became big factors. I did score a "Princess Rebecca" fashion doll at a doll show -- "Rebecca" being my name in the real world. Now I collect paper dolls.... was actually quite surprised to see how many new artists there are. (Google "paper doll" and see what happens!!! I've even made it to two paper doll conventions and intend to go to more. Artist Tom Tierney lives here in Texas and has begun hosting a pd party every spring which is also a lot of fun. I'd drive out to Smithville just to listen to him tell stories of his life! He's so cool and such a sweetie. Every time I hear Jason Wu's name, I remember how we all cheered for him when he got his driver's liscense!! LOL. Hope everyone is well and getting the most out of life. Hi, all! Did you see the November issue of Dolls magazine? On page 34 is a great gift set that our own Kathy Mroczko did. Congratulations on a job well done, Kathy! How's that boy of yours doing?
