I check in too, but the List is quiet. Congrats on the new property. Sometimes I wish I could start over with a new house with all blank space. But I'm very fond of the decorating I've finally achieved. It's getting rid of the old to make space for what I like now that's the issue.
Visited Montclair, NJ a couple of weeks ago and stopped in at the local doll shop. All baby dolls and such, but a doll shop, nonetheless. In a magazine rack behind the counter I saw "Haute Doll" fashion doll magazine. I'm so out of the doll collecting loop that I did not know about this magazine. I knew of "Fashion Doll Quarterly." Anyway, I saw our own Randall Craig is a contributing editor. Saw a big spread about Jason Wu and all the upscale fashion dolls he's designing for Integrity. I got all excited thinking about when we knew these folks as just little ole CandiChatters and how far they've come! And looking through the magazine was a sore temptation to want to start collecting these exquisite fashion dolls. Nope, I have no will power so I mustn't take any doll subscriptions.
I also see that it's Muriel Caviale from the old "Barbie Bazaar" days whose the publisher of "Haute Doll." But I guess you all already knew this. Take care, all. HI All, I wrote a nice chatty e-mail, but for some reason I can only send short ones right now. Not sure what is going on. I messed with it for quite a while yesterday. But anyway we bought a lovely piece of property in the foothills north of Ft. Collins, and will be building on it soon. I hope
to
be able to send some pics soon. Anyone got any new dolls to share?
