<< Dear Candi Chatters, It has been brought to my attention that a professional dilemma concerning Hamilton Toymakers, Integrity Toys, and Mr. Paul David has occurred. Some time ago I posted to your chat room a disclaimer concerning our severed ties with Mr. David. The problem we had with Mr. David was his refusal to pay his bills with our company, and his slanderous behavior in regards to our company. That situation has now changed. Mr David is paying off his bills with our company, and has made a formal apology to our company on his website. These actions have now placed Mr. David in good standing with our company. He has been reinstated as a CANDI® Dealer with Hamilton Toymakers, and is now establishing a positive professional working relationship with our company as a CANDI® dealer and Licensee. In regards to Integrity Toys, Mr. Newsum is a wonderful person to work with. Our relationship with Integrity and Mr. Newsum mean the world to us. And we can only hope for continued success with his company as a CANDI® licensee. Integrity's position in regards to the recent ad in Barbie Bazaar from Katy's Collectibles, is to be viewed as an over site. And in no way effects the excellent standing Integrity has in the professional community. ("Katy" is an Integrity CANDI® dealer. Hamilton Toymakers have no affiliation with Katy's Collectibles.) But for the record, the disclaimer regarding Mr. David placed in the CANDI® advertisement in the recent Barbie Bazaar magazine was not acceptable by Hamilton Toymakers. Integrity Toys and Mr. David are obviously having a hard time working out their differences. I'm sure they will. But using our products as a forum to place disclaimers will never do. Hamilton Toymakers would like to formally apologize for the indiscretion. We did not see the ad before it went to print, nor did we approve the ad. However, the out come was still the same- "Formal Negative Advertising at the consumers expense." As the owners of the CANDI® license and the CANDI® doll we are responsible for the behavior of our licensees. And I assure you this will not happen again. We have alerted Barbie Bazaar magazine, and other magazines to the problem. We will send approvals not only to our licensees, but to the magazine directly. for all ads placed in their magazine from now on. Once again we truly apologize for the indiscretion. And I wish continued success to everyone involved, and that includes you, the consumer. In a consumer driven society, "Peace and Professionalism" as professionals is all we can hope for.
Thank-you. If you need to speak to me, call me at: 973-344-6668 or of course, e-mail me at hamiltontoys@aol.com
