Right back at you.
I'm still a collector but have so much I really haven't added more & am trying to give some away since it seems impossible to sell it.  We have an 'Angel Tree ' at church each Xmas, & I came across a little girl requesting 'Barbie  stuff" ( something that gets rarer each yr) & I loaded a bout a 3 ft high Xmas bag with diff. sizes & friends of Barbie dolls &  a store & other 'Barbie stuff'.  I gave more Barbies  to the  Marine coll. and it didn't make a dent in my room just let me spread out a tad. I've given all I can to my Grand kids but their parents called a halt ( darn ) & they are growing out of dolls anyway. I gave a bunch to the little girl next door including an older 'A frame' Barbie house.  I've given lots of 'clones' to a friend who particularly loves them. It's sad I can't sell the more expensive dolls.
I was upset that when my mom & grandma  who lived in another state...died...that I got no furniture & very little other stuff to remember them by ( went to other relatives who lived there)...but I'm kind of glad now because my  2 grown boys & wives don't want what I have & certainly would not have wanted  their stuff.  I'm 68 &  we have all we need & it should last.  My husband & I hope we can stay healthy & vital at least another 15 yrs. before thinking about moving  from our one level house into a small apt.  but I'd hate to saddle him with all my 100's of dolls ...just in case .  Pat Hawkins from Al.

Hi Pat, Hi Sherrie,

It's good to see there are still a few of us around.

Happy New Year everyone.

"Belief" is compatible with respect and tolerance for other beliefs. "Certainty" is an arrogance that leads to intolerance, disrespect and, all too often, terror and war. --Ray Sachs, quoted from Newsweek Letters 9/25/06
