Hi Robin,

Yes, the shopping trip was fun.  The doll with the eyelashes is the new Celebration Holiday Barbie.  When I got to the layaway dept. I was still examining them. LOL.
Sounds like you did really good with James Dean, etc.  I bought one James Dean off the internet several years ago and didn't know they were at still around at TRU.  I can see you sewing on those snaps in anger!  What is the James Dean wearing? Mine has a red jacket.  I love James Dean!

Karla,

Which doll are you referring to that has the lashes? (I had to chuckle imagining you taking dolls off the shelf, lining them up in the isle and inspecting them... lol. I've done that on occasion. Sometimes there's a barely susceptible difference that makes you think you got the best one of the lot.... lol).

Went shopping this week. Got James Dean was on sale at TRU. Bought Frank Sinatra for his suit. His damn shirt was sewn on him (screech!). Sniped it off and sewed on snaps (pricked my fingers (fuming!)), but JD takes on a whole new look in a suit.

Finished my wedding boutique diorama, and decided that Candi still wows me.

Think my girls are spectacular.

Also got the Samantha (Bewitched) Barbie because she's different with a fabulous widow's peak, and her hair turns fluffy after it's washed. Got some doll furniture, handmade and upholstered (not plastic stuff) and blew my dolly budget, but I'm as contented right now as a newly fed baby with a pacifier.

Robin :-))))
