It's incredibly rare that I get excited about a Barbie, so I want to share. A friend of mine found me a Princess of South Africa Barbie. I had been looking for a month now ... they sold out quickly around here and I wasn't able to find one. I LOVE this doll. Of course, when she arrived at my house I immediately deboxed her and changed her clothes. She is now wearing a black mini-dress (courtesy Posh Spice) and black pointed toe shoes (courtesy Silkstone Barbie). I knew I would want to redress her in modern fashion rather than her original ethnic ensemble. If you all are into black dolls then you must check her out! She is incredibly and delightfully exotic! The only downside is I was hoping she would be on the new BB body but she is on the Shani body. Oh well, I still think she is great!
