Hi Robin,

Thanks so much for your feedback.  I had bought a few sets of FA Evening Ware so I should be able to put one of the gowns on Kari.

Thanks so much,

Karla

Hi Karla,

It appears to me that the dresses, skirts and coats are interchangeable between dolls.  The jackets and pants aren't.  The sweaters are interchangeable, but only if you can create an opening in the neck.  Kari's head slips off-and-on easily, but, as you know, Bab's and Candi's heads don't, so without a new opening you can't get it on them.  Randall has indicated a way to do that, so I'm going to give it a try on the sweaters I have.

Hi Robin and Randall,

Randal, your check is in the mail.  I was a little concerned with Robins post saying that the Dolls were too small to fit Candi/Babs?  Robin, do you think and evening gown would fit "Kari?"  If not, I'll have one nude doll.  And will the outfit the blonde is wearing fit Candi or Babs?

I'd love to have feedback from both of you.  I would really appreciate it.

Hi Randall,

I found Kari at a store on sale.  She came with some surprisingly sophisticated clothing, considering how inexpensive she was. The sweaters without clasps were disappointing because they don't fit over Babs/Candi's heads, and they were such neat looking sweaters.  But, for $9 I got some things I could use, one is a tweed winter coat with a tie belt that I love (Dolly is wearing it in the nursery scene on my website) and a black print lined skirt that I thought was attractive, albeit the print scale was large (Candi is wearing it in the wedding scene on my website).  Kari's leather pants are too small to fit on Babs/Candi, but $9 for the few things that work was a good investment.

Hello!

I know that some of us here on the list have discussed the Kari Michell
dolls before. I contacted the company to find out the U.S. distributors
and after searching all over the place ... I was in west Miami today and
found some!
The clothing is really nice quality, with two exeptions. The knit tops
don't use velcro and the stitching is too tight around the neckline so
you have to remove the doll's head to remove the shirt. It's very easy to
remove the head on the Kari Michell doll but for my Alysa it was more
difficult. The second thing is one of the skirts uses a print that is was
too large of scale. But other than that, they have used some nice fabrics
and overall I think that they're very well done!
I bought two dolls, I was going to use both outfits on my Alysa dolls but
I've changed my mind on one. So ... if anybody would like to buy a nude
brunette Kari Michell she's $2.50 and if anybody wants to buy a MIB
blonde wearing snakeskin pants and pleather jacket she's $6.00!
Let me know if you're interested ... before they go to eBay.
