Hi All, Well, as for favorites, that is really easy. I am madly in love with the Fashion Royalty dolls. I love the quality. It reminds of the reason I fell in love with Gene dolls, and my ongoing love of vintage. Lots of little details made in such a way that they never look cheap. Nice price point, and I like the smaller size. I just don't have room for the Gene things, so I have sort of gotten over those. That, and the increase in price in Gene made me much less likely to buy more. As far as next year, I am sure there will be more things ordered in the FR line. I think I will buy one of the lounge kitties, and I know I will get one of the Princess of Greece dolls to play with. She looks like she has such a pretty face. In general, I am not buying much Barbie stuff. I liked the look of the Kate Spade doll, but I just don't think most of the Barbie dolls are worth the $70.00 or so she is supposed to retail for. I never know what sort of sales I will find, but I almost never pay full price, except for playline. So there is always a thing or two that makes it way into my things that I didn't plan for. And to add to the question. How about the worst things coming out? I thought Mattel couldn't make anything uglier than the Flavas dolls, but have you seen the new Kellys? Horrible things with big heads. They have lost all their cuteness. I had been buying quite a few of those, but not anymore if that is what they will look like. Sigh, trust mattel to ruin a good thing.
So who's next?

It's been really quite until lately when things have picked up somewhat so
here's another log to toss on the old chat fire.
What were your favorite dolls of 2003? Can be Candis, Fashion Royalty,
Barbie, Tyler, Gene, Kitty Collier, Alex, Ann Estelle, playline, collectible line, whatever!
Then, what dolls are you looking forward to in 2004?
Should be fun to see everyones' opinions. Enjoy!
