I had a GREAT shopping day on Thursday. You probably don't remember and maybe I did't post it but there is this big store going out of business near me. Now I remember telling Randall about it. I got those 3 packs of "designer" clothes - the clothes are very "preppy" and the quality is fantastic. They are by Kari Michell - the same as the dolls that I got from you, Randall, if you are, if you are listening." So on Thursday I was out and decided to make a fast stop at this store again. I truly did not expect them to have anything left since they are going out of business. When I got to the Barbie isle I couldn't believe my eyes. It was loaded with all new merchandise including two more of those evening fashion outfits from Mattel (Very cheap fabric but I really wanted the evening wear). I also picked up quite a few FA outfits - everything is 20% off but I noticed they had some of the merchandise highly priced to begin with. They had Barbies in there that I never saw. I couldn't believe it. Of course I had to go get a cart by this time, LOL, and there I was with my cart loaded to the brim (and believe me - I should not be putting anything more on the charge card. Does anyone ever have that feeling????). Anyway, this woman says to me "Oh, are you doing some Christmas shopping." I told her no, that all this stuff was for me - that was so funny. So, I will be checking on this store frequently now knowing they are getting stock in all the time.
