When I saw Kathy's subject line in her message with pics(can't believe that Grayson is getting sooo big!), it reminded me of something I had been meaning to post about new Candis.
The most important piece of info for you is that Integrity has fixed the problem with the arm joint that was encountered with Candi in the past. All that get them should find that both arms move easily up to the T position with no sticking whatsoever. This was something collectors had been asking to be done for quite some time and Integrity has taken care of the problem.
Secondly, compare your new Cover Girls with your older Candis. You will find that the dolls have a more matte finish. This was done to give the dolls the more porcelain type look usually found in higher end dolls. Once again, I applaud Integrity's committment to quality for our girls.
Thirdly, I have a little more information on the Integrity Candi holiday line. The collection is called Holiday Toast. There will be 4 head molds used. The Asian, Hispanic, Swedish and Danish, 650 pieces of each. You've seen a preview of the Asian doll, as she is pictured wearing the Femme Fatale suit from the International line. There is a brand new skin tone that will be used on the Hispanic doll to give her more of a Hispanic look! It is known as sun kissed and I can hardly wait for the pics.
Jason told me yesterday that he is having photography done now and hopes to have the pics to dealers, along with the rest of the International pics, by next week. Firm pricing for the Holiday Toast line won't be available until then but he estimated anywhere from $19.99 to no higher than $21.99. The dolls will be dressed in red silk and come with a bottle of wine and 2 glasses. How fun to have some accessory items with a boxed doll!
The Holiday Toast dolls are tentatively scheduled to arrive the latter part of November. All Holiday Toast dolls pre-ordered from Doll Dreams & Cuddly Things will receive a 10% pre-order discount.
Lastly, Jason asked me to tell everyone on the list hello from him. He hasn't forgotten his CandiChat friends.
