Amen to that!
Both Helena and Mikelman are not known to have great reputations in the doll world. They really do deserve eachother. They were esentially at eachother's throats a few years back when their first attempt at Candi didnt work. What makes them think it's going to work out this time?
Candi or no Candi, Integrity still knows how to make a good doll, which is ultimately what I am concerned about. I am a doll collector and I want DOLLS NOT DRAMA! If Helena has a problem (which is ever so often), she should take it to court, simple as that.Between all the beauties that they are creating I could care less what Hamilton/Mikelman will come up with, I will ceertainly not buy it.

Hi, Group,
I wonder if Mikelman didn't make the implied accusation for Ms Hamilton. In Catalog 184 he has two pictures with two dolls facing and side on. The first caption reads:
Integrity's new Giselle, is she a knock off of the new Hispanic Candi mold? You decide. Hispanic Candi on the left, Giselle on right
The second caption reads:
Helena Hamilton, owner of the Candi registered trademark says the Candi trademark has been revoked from Integrity Toys.
Now, while I may be new to this issue,(I started collecting Candi in September 2002, and am now just collecting Integrity's wonderful girls and others of Jason Wu's works,) I find the whole thing too bitchy for my tastes. If I wanted soap opera I would watch one.
If Ms hamilton has a real issue, let her react legally: SUE. If not, I hope she keeps her rancid gossip off of our doll doscussion pages.
