Almost missed this in ditching all the spam I get. (Anyone know how to block this garbage?!) Whatever happened to our Candichat identifier? We used to have it on all emails from the group... Anyway, thanks for sharing, Kathy! Racoons have always been my favorite animal; so cute. (But I've never had to deal with them "in person" so to speak. Just know that they can be carriers of rabies.) Hi All, This is totally OT, but I thought you all might get a kick out of these pics.
I heard an awful racket about 4:30 a.m. this morning, and went to the
back door to see what was happening. There were only 5, yes 5 racoons in my fountain on the deck. My fountain isn't that big! LOL All babies,
and
having a grand time. They didn't care that I turned on the light, so I hurried and got my 3 year old of bed to share with him. I didn't get pics of the five at once because we watched them for quite a while before I thought to get my camera, but these pics did come out cute.

Of course, now I have to clean the fountain AGAIN. They are hitting
it
on a regular basis. They knock over the bird bath too, the naughty
things.
I have always maintained that God made racoons cute or they would be extinct. LOL
