I sort have forgotten about the Birthstones in the last month because they were so hard to find but I did get the Ruby one which was my Mom and Dad's Birthstones and put the Peridot, Pearl and two Emeralds on layaway. I didn't know there were new ones out. I will have to start looking. My birthday is in March I doubt I will ever see that one but like the two gowns you wrote about that were almost the same, my birthstone is aquamarine which is the palest blue and looks almost like a diamond so that dress will be very light also and they have her with blonde hair so it will be washed out even more. Do you think these dolls will go up in value at any time?

I remember some of us talking about the Birthstone dolls....I don't know if you ever found them all....after stopping at various Wal-marts many times, I saw 3 of the 4 first releases....never got to see June (my own birthstone). I am surprised to see that they are already out with the next four (Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec).....I saw December and October tonight. The two months I am most interested in (June, my birthday, and October, my daughter's BD), disappoint me because of the gown color. They almost look the same to me....both blondes with ivory (or almost white) gowns. Also, the real birthstone for June is an Alexandrite (Pearl is just a cheap version)...Alexandrites are very expensive and beautiful....the color on them changes....sometimes its purple with different hues of other colors in it....pinks, greens. Also, October is a pink stone...Tourmaline (again Opal is a different version, not really a gemstone). I would have rather seen the pink color used for October than a white/ivory gown and medium purple color for June....sorry to vent!
