soeben finde ich eine Beschreibung der neuen Byron Lars als Fortsetzung der Treasures of Africa.
Für diejenigen, die sie noch nicht erhalten haben, hier der Text. Er stammt von einer Besucherin der Toy Fair und für mich hört es sich sehr vielversprechend an:
Mbili by Byron Lars: Mbili means "two" in Swahili, which is fitting for the second doll in Treasures of Africa Collection. Mbili Barbie is a funky doll that combines the flavour of the Swahili culture with trendy North-American accents. The doll s very dark completion is highlighted with pale yellow henna tattoos across her eyebrows. Multi-coloured strings and feathers best describe her fashion, which is rich in Swahili heritage. Electric blue lace up boots adds a modern touch. Mbili is very different and is definitely a doll for collectors who appreciate something unique. Sorry, photos are not yet available.
Auf die Fotos bin ich gespannt. Wird wohl ein weiteres Muss für meine Sammlung werden. Warum gibt es eigentlich immer mehr "musts" und weniger "don'ts"? :o) Aber wem sage ich das...

leider nein, von ihr gibt es noch keine bilder, aber hoffentlich bald. ebenso finde ich es komisch, daß von einigen neuen barbies, die bei der toy fair vorgestellt wurden, gar keine actual pics gibt. von einigen kann man ja welche sehen, aber von der madame madmoiselle zb. nicht und gerade die würde ich gerne sehen. na ja...
