Ich habe eben folgende Mail bezüglich OOAK Silkstone Barbies erhalten. Da sie mir so gut gefallen, dachte ich, dass Ihr die Püppis auch gerne mal sehen möchtet.

Deshalb leite ich die Mail kurzerhand weiter:

In case you missed them!

Recently four OOAK Silkstones were auctioned on ebay. This is some of the auction blurb:

"This auction is one of four I have on Ebay right now for one-of-a-kind Barbie Fashion Model Collection Silkstone Barbies designed by Robert Best. These were Mattel's donation to a charity auction held at the Jeffrey clothing store in Manhattan, New York in December 1999. There were somewhere between 50 and 100 dolls donated to the auction, and no two were alike.

The dolls were created prior to the mass-production of the Silkstone line, so each one is hand-painted. And the outfits, all designed by Robert Best, were all hand-made in Mattel's design department."
