Hi gpc-subscribers, has anybody experience or has tried to call a module written in GNU pascal from a Fortran 77 routine (run on unix platforms) and is happy to give advice on that?
I would be grateful for any advice on whether or not it is (in principle) possible to (i) call modules available in GNU pascal from routines written in Fortran 77 (unix) and (ii) exchange data i.e. program parameters and variables (incl. arrays) between the modules. This bi-directional data exchange is supposed to be performed for every (time) step of a dynamic simulation process.

I don't have any such experience, but I can say that linking, calling and data exchange (both ways) between GPC and C/C++ works well (see the relevant GPC demos for examples).
So if it works between Fortran and C, it should also work between GPC and Fortran.
