What did you do?

1. Just untar gcc-xyz.tar.gz and gpc-abc.tar.gz 2. move gpc-dir/p gcc-dir/gcc/ 3. cd gpc-dir 4. ../gcc-dir/configure --enable-languages=pascal (say yes to the requested patch) 5. make ; make install (as root)

It works fine with Debian GNU Linux and SuSE Linux
