Hello ,
Thankyou for responding. Probably i have the wrong environment and the compiler. I am in the look-out for a compiler that can compile pascal programs and makes 'exe's that can run on Unix. I am not particular about compiling the pascal programs in windows.I can also compile them in Linux/Unix.Is it enough if i install Linux on my system?
Like I said, there are (old) Linux binaries on agnes. Check in the 'beta' directory (or is it 'alpha'?). There are also binaries for some unix platforms (e.g., Solaris). You have given no indication as to the unix platform that you are using. It may be that binaries already exist for that platform (others will be able to tell you). On the other hand, you may need to download the GPC and GCC sources and compile GPC yourself.
Thankyou in advance . Regards, Anuradha
PS : Should i have directed this message to the maillist?
Yes.
