Hi All, Several people said they couldn't get the pics, but some did, so I am supposing it was my server being down for a bit yesterday. You never know with my ISP. Choic

Hello! I have a bit of news for you all. I am launching my own line of clothing! The line is called Choic (pronounced Choice). It is a very trendy mens line consisting of knit tops. This is something that I have had the concept in my mind for over a year, gave it a name and presented the idea to some industry professionals in April but it wasn't until earlier this month that I decided that I wanted to start my own company and produce this line. Some of you may have seen some peices from Choic (before it had a name) on my TWN cover or in photographs. This clothing is not mass-produced. Everything is produced in either very limited editions or is one of a kind. I have my own web site and the line will be carried at Miguel's Fashions (a botique in Wilton Manors). As soon as we get some more peices photographed and my labels come in the ball will be rolling. For now, the preview to the site is up. You can see it at: http://www.choic4guys.com And I have to say, Michael has been such a great help with many things including his photography and web design. I'm Still Here

Hi Everybody, Just a quick note to let everyone know I'm still at my Mother's in Michigan and will be here for a while. Most of you know Mom is in stage 4 cancer and we are doing hospice so I am here as primary caregiver. We are both doing about as well as can be expected. I've finally gotten an account that lets me online once in while. There is only one access number for most of the servers out here and none at all for some of them such as AOL!! Yes, this is Podunk, USA. My online time is limited by accessability and personal duties so I still won't be active on my lists. I will be reading and trying to keep up with all the gossip/news. Good news -- we bought a house. Bad news -- it puts a serious dent in my dolly budget so I won't be "playing" at the lever I once was. I still love to see what everyone is doing with their dolls. The latest Integrity dolls are beautiful. Take care, Weaver

I just got this response from the Robert Tonner website. Can't wait... I'd love to have a plus-sized model in "Barbi*" size; Rosie just didn't do it for me... Melissa we are in the process of working on a 12" emme :-) watch our website for information in the future thanks! nancy TDC Greetings! I have heard rumor on the internet that you may be producing an Emme doll in the 11 1/2"-12" size range also. We 11 1/2" fashion doll collectors would love to have a doll like that. There are sooooo many of the skinny models out (Barbi*, etc.) It would be nice to have a doll in a more realistic size for us in the over 40 collectors group. Thanks for any info you can share... Hi, all! I just got the new August Dolls magazine & this is especially for Pat Brown. Emme by Tonner is on the cover & she is stunning! (Emme is a Plus-Size model & he has represented her beautifully with great outfits, though pricey.) Also on the voting pages for the Dolls of Excellence Awards, there is one of the Big, Beautiful Dolls in the Vinyl under $100 section. I'll have to look out for her when Expo is here in August. I just love the way Dolls has a postcard in the magazine for voting. Why can't Barbie Bazaar do that so as not to destroy the magazines?! (I guess it's moot now as you can only do it online anymore.) Anyway, just sharing some news... Melissa

I loved Pat's report on her new doll and can see why she is so very pleased with her. She's great! I'm glad you posted pics, too, Kathy. I had seen the pic of your original doll long ago somewhere, maybe here, but had forgotten details about her. Placing them side by side was a great idea for a walk down memory lane.
