Need some help on E-Bay

Hi All, I wanted to start keeping track of the Basic Veroniques and the fashions, etc. since I do want to try to sell them on ebay eventually. I'm not "up" ebay hardly at all. I did get to e-bay and brought up the dolls and the fashion (Toast of Paris) but it didn't say how to bid and or when the bidding started, etc. I got one page that had some things listed (not specifically about how to buy and sell) but one of the items read "Warning to E-Bay users, before you start buying or selling on ebay make sure you know the secrets of bidding, buying and selling on ebay? That made me a little nervous - what do they mean by that - does anyone know what these "secrets" are?? I would greatly appreciate any help on where I need to go to bid, etc. as I did have the Veroniques listed but it didn't tell you how to bid. Any other hints or information on buying and selling on ebay would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much, Karla

Hi All, Sorry for the cross posting but NEED to get the word out there, I am KICKING myself for having to sell this doll but circumstances have come up and I am REALLY in need of selling her! This is the Rare Bob Mackie Goddess of Africa doll and she is SUPER MINT and NRFB and is in her original shipper also, the shipper has been opened to inspect and GREATLY admire the doll, We all know the exquisite beadwork on all of these high end Bob Mackie dolls and this one is certainly no exception. This doll is PERFECT in every way shape and form and the original sketch is also included with the doll and the box has not got any real dings I can see. So if this is something you have been wanting or never could get She is a wonderful addition to your collection, I have done EXTENSIVE searches from various dealers and on EBay and am asking for her only $225 plus shipping, shipping is gonna be higher at about $20, this box is HUGE! So get ahold of me if your interested, I would PREFER paypal for this transaction and would have to have paypal fees added for this beauty, so all total it would be $257.25 for shipping and paypal fees added in. I can also do a money order for her but money order would have to reach me in 5-7 days. Hope someone can use this beauty! TTYS Kevin

Hi All, Karla I have seen some of the Blondes going for almost $50 or more even, IN fact I paid $32 fora NUDE blonde one not in the box! WAY more than I would usually spend on a nude doll but she is destined to become a OOAK anyway, She is gonna be a Marilyn Monroe when I am done with her, One of my redheads is gonna be Ann-Margret when I can get to her! ttys Kevin

HI All, I have all three of the Basic ones and from what I have seen on Ebay and other places te redhead isnt that limited yet. The one who is really limited or hard to find is the Blonde one and when you do find those they are not so cheap!! ttys kevin

Exclusive Fashion

Hello, I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted to let you all know what is going on with the group fashion. First of all I want to make sure that you all know (despite the fact that the first reactions were almost unanimously in favor of the polka dot outfit) we will have production samples on BOTH fashions. That way the group can vote and make their decision based on exactly what the production fashions will look like. We have two different facilites (keep in mind that we are not using factories, rather we are using individuals who are skilled in high end clothing production), both of which are making samples so we can use the best of the two. Please keep in mind that this is going to take time. Everybody involved knows that quality is the priority NOT time. Some more info (most of you probably already know this): each member will have the opportunity to purchase only 1 fashion. Somebody had asked about getting two so that they could open one and keep the other NRFB. My packaging is such that you need not worry about deboxing. I use a clear top box and the fashion is attached to a peice of foam core using straight pins. That way you don't have to worry about removing thread and damaging the fashion. The fashions can easily be placed back in the boxes with pins. I want them to be opened, you have to have the clothing in hand and put it on your doll to see the quality. For those of you who have purchased any Veronique/Fashion Royalty dolls, just curious which you like better....Veronique Close Up-Morning Frost (Winter) with strawberry blonde hair OR the Close-up redhead version (not sure what she is called)? Does anyone know if the redhead is more limited? Thanks. Crystal

Candi Shoes Sets?

Hi, I was wondering if any of you purchased the Candi shoe sets? These really are my favorite styles of shoes but I know that we are paying a premium for the shoe boxes and stuff. I wish they would offer just the shoes for a little less $. Randall
