Tee Hee, yep, we have the sticks here too! LOL I like paper crafts too. I have been making cards and having a good time, but I am not ready to give up dolls yet. I think I am more sticking with it because I am in to the OOAK things, so there is always something fresh and new for me to do. Reminds me, I don't think I shared my latest here yet. This a remake of a Steffie faced doll that I did for a swap.

And here is the original pattern I copied the outfit from. I love using human patterns for dolls.

Also for those wondering, I found the pics of the Chic Escape I saw. This lady took super pics of the doll. I may REALLY need one of these. LOL

No, Australia is the boonies where dolls are concerned. Trust me. Or maybe 'the sticks'! Which is our version of the boonies. In anycase I haven't been tempted by a doll for ages which is ok. There just isn't anything getting to me - I am even getting rid of some dolls cos I don't have the space - which is another story - one you are all familiar with - I feel sure.

Thanks for sharing, Kathy! Your swap doll is a cutie! Oh, my-patterns for 35 cents... when they are now in the$15 range though I NEVER pay that much; I wait for the $1.99, $.99, and 75% off sales. Yes, Chic Escape is a MUST have. I'm not really hooked on FR, but she is just soooo cute! Melissa
