Good morning one and all. I'm back from Houston. The show was more lightly attended then is normally usual for this area but I think everyone that came had a good time. I know I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction and doll talk with other collectors! I also got to see Stefanie again from our list and it is always so much fun to get to talk to a fellow list member in person! Stef, I'm glad you could make it!
I'm getting ready to download mail and catch up but wanted to pass along an update received from Integrity. It may have already filtered down to you while I was gone but I'ld rather you heard the latest twice or even more, then not at all, lol.
The first wave of Candi International is now scheduled to arrive approx. the 3rd week of August. Now in addition to the AA, Liquid Silver and Paparazzi Python, the Asian and Danish dolls will also be arriving. I was delighted to hear that they had been added to the first shipment and hope that you are too. The balance of the dolls and fashions are scheduled to be in the country and distributed to dealers before the end of September.
Additional good news is that, finally, those great pedestal stands that were introduced with the Mandarin Chic Jade dolls will be available as an accessory item. I know that I have begged for them since the day that I first saw them for use with other dolls in my collection. As much as I love the Kaiser stands there are some dolls that just plain display more beautifully without anything showing at the waist.
