This is the reproduction and she looks almost exactly like the original which is why I really doubted my desire to buy her (I've never liked the original Malibu Barbie even though I've owned at least a dozen). BUT her hair is shinier and that's a welcome improvement. I've always thought that Malibu Barbie had horrible, dull hair that wouldn't do anything. So, I gave this one a flip do. Wow, it really does a lot for her face! Since I took the picture I have combed the hair and it has relaxed some and I like it even more. I am actually quite fond of my new doll and she was only $16.97 at KMart.

I've never taken her out of the box. I bought her just as the new Alysa came out and that's when I decided that I only wanted ones with the smaller head mold. $14.99

She is shown in and outfit and acessories so you can see how good she looks but she is sold completely nude. The one pic is so you can see what the back of her hair looks like. Her hair is really shiny! No flaws that I can find but I didn't buy her new. $9.99
