I've made a decision. I've got to divest myself of a lot of 11.5" fashion dolls, including Candi. I've got tons of dolls I had intened to work on for makeovers, and it's just not going to happen. I also have Genes and many of her outfits that I want to get rid of.
It's too tedious to try and put much of this stuff on ebay--it wouldn't fetch very much and it's altogether too time-consuming for the things I want to sell. If any of you are looking for certain dolls, ASK me if I have it. It's easier for me to answer individual questions than to list all that I want to sell. You might ask me if I have something that I forgot I have, wouldn't've thought to list for sale, or didn't want to sell but then you asked and the offer to get rid of some extra doll is just too tempting.
My collecting tastes are definitely changing from broad to very finite. I've run out of space, I don't have the time to buy and sell as I should to keep my collecting controlled, and I'm growing older--I just don't need a lot of these dolls around here.
Make me an offer on anything.
But this doesn't mean I won't stop CandiChatting. I still enjoy THIS list and the overall knowledge CandiChatters have about doll collecting is priceless! REgards, pat Brown
I should add that I have a variety of Barbies, still in boxes, for sale and most Fashion Avenues from 1995, 1996 and 1997. The prospect of going through all this stuff and itemizing what I want to sell is more work than it's worth if all I'm able to do is sell a few things, But I'm more than willing to look to see what I have when you tell me what you're interested in--that's easier than going through all of it at once. I'm sorry I can't be more specific with listing all the Candi, Gene and Barbie dolls and clothes I'd like to sell. It's overwhelming to me to see how much I've accumulated.
