I just read today's (Mon. Sept. 18) USA Today's paper ...,on P. 20 of the Life section is a pic. of a model in a dress designed by Jason Wu. A short white dress with black details which he says was inspired by 'vintage Hollywood glamour shots of a young Liz Taylor".
now go here to see his collection for real woman...it's nice!!!!, there's a video too & he continues to use his big W logo http:// www.olympusfashionweek.com/fall2006/designers/jason_wu/
then in ELLE mag. http://www.elle.com/collections/8156/fall-2006- ready-to-wear-jason-wu-collections.html
this site has a slide show of his dresses & show them better...I can't help think that some would look best on dolls..this site also tells how he designs dolls ( but 'hip' dolls they point out) http://www.style.com/fashionshows/ collections/S2007RTW/review/JASONWU
here's his dress design site http://www.thewstudio.com/
I hope there are some still out there to see this Pat Hawkins
Hi Pat and all, I am still out here too. Been keeping up pretty well with the careers of Randall and Jason. I have bought waaaay to many of Jason's Fashion Royalty dolls. Especially at those prices, but they are so beautiful that it is hard to resist. They are some of my favorites to play with and redress. If you don't have any, I highly recommend them. Been buying a lot of vintage clone stuff at yard sales too. Have to have something else to support my habit. On the personal front, I got my realtors license in Jan., and have been working my tail off trying to make a little money. Actually have closed one house, have another in the works, and one listed, so I may be able to make a living doing this after all. You won't believe this, but Grayson will be turning seven in a couple of weeks. Where did the time go? Here is a pic of the whole family on top of a mountain. We were half way through an eight mile hike, so may not look our best, but we were having fun.

Great picture, Kathy! My! How the years do fly by! I can't believe that mine is 13! Good to hear from CandiChatters again. I also have several of the early FR dolls & several of Randall's great doll outfits. They look wonderful on FR girls as well as others. I also have a few of the Integrity playline. I buy the ones I like when I can find them. Best wishes to all... Melissa :o)

Hi all! Nice to know some of you are still out there and doing well.
Kathy, love the picture of Grayson! Oh my cosh, our little baby boy has grown into a handsome young man. Hard to believe I joined the group about the time he was born. So good to see him again. Congrats on your new career, also.
I'm addicted to action figures these days. Hey hey hey... stop! I can see you folks rolling your eyes! hee hee...it's not all bad, there will be lovely fashions for them eventually. LOL

Hi Robin, I've seen pics of some of the Sideshow toys action figures, and they are pretty awesome. Some are even fitting companions for our girls. I bought a couple of the James Bond ones a few years ago, and they are really great, so I understand why you can be into the action figs. The Star Wars ones look really cool. Saw a Jabba the Hut one that was incredible. Too pricey for me though. Love to see some pics ( hint, hint!!)

Wow...I think last we saw Grayson he was still toddling around & prob. in diapers too...I hope you do well in real estate too. I have prob. my last grand child, Emma, who's just turn one, she's in addition to my other 2 grandsons Chase & Drew.... & Sarah who just turn 13
I have some of Jason's 1st Fash. Roy. dolls when they weren't so expensive & Randall's outfit he made just for Candichat which I still think is one of his best. I still collect a few Barbies, some Silkstone & Those Models of the month like Daria. I do like Tyler Wentworth dolls esp. her friends. I still have all my Candi dolls & some of Mikelmans dolls...Frankly, I'd like to be able to sell some of the Barbies & a few Candi's but the market is so down for them I was told. One friend got out of doll Collecting & had some local company sell them all for her in diff. lots, such as all Barbie & all antique & all porcelain ...but didn't do all that wonderful. Another friend sold all her Barbie collection which were mostly vintage on ebay over about 3 years & did well on some & lost out on others but broke just about even...& all the work on it about drove her nuts. Apparently ebay is getting more complicated...& there are the usual few crooks who steal ID's, info & products somehow. So I'm afraid to even try them. Pat Hawkins from Al.
