Hi Listies!
I am the proud owner of 4 beautiful ladys from the International Line. :-) I love these dolls and I like to share my impressions with you. I hope you understand what I mean; it's not easy for me to express all these in english. ;-)
Unpacking was easy, they are fastened to the box only with a tape at the waist. The new boxes are, by the way, much nobler than in former times. Who wants to look at the pictures of the ladies, can use the links.
Danish Candi http://members.aol.com/SuzW497026/Resources/icidanish.jpg The most remarkable thing on her is the beautiful red hair, starked in two shades. The hair length is also unusual, it ends on center back. The black straigth dress is completely lined and suits perfectly. The hat is from a sturdy material and coated with something that looks like velvet. The double-row necklace (beads in two sizes) has a real hook and she waer matching bead ear plugs. Also the black gloves and the bracelet correspond perfectly to the outfit. I love also the new shoes, with open toe and heel portion and strap on the leg. The strap is closed with a tiny knub, what is quite tricky however it looks great. As additional accessoiries she has cool black sun glasses and a hat box with Candi print. Her eyes are in a colour like cognac and the eyelid shadows are reddish matching very nice to the hair colour. Under the left eye she has a small beauty mark. The dark red lips are easily opened, but she don't smile. The nailenamel corresponds to the lip colour. A wonderfully elegant lady!
Asian http://members.aol.com/caribvid/Resources/icidasian2.jpg She has very long dark-brown hair, oliv coloured eyes, brownish eyelid shadows, light red lips and naturally the special asiatic face mold. The nails are painted suitably to the lipstick. The white suit from raw silk is in two-pieces, pants and top. The top is lined and has a deep back decollete. Everything sits as cast-on. Her only juwelry are silver earrings. The white shoes are closed at heels and toes, otherwise same as the shoes of Danish. She has a shoppingbag with her also as black sun glasses. She shines by Understatement!

That sounds itself amusingly, I know, looks however refined to the honey skin tone. The eyes are in a darkly olive and she has, as only of the four, no painted lashes; only a black eyelid line. The eyelid shadow is painted in three brown tones and on the left cheek bone sits a beauty mark. The lips are dark-brown like also the nails. She has golden earrings and the sun glasses participate also again. The light brown wool-gown is lined, suits perfectly and is decorated with four "diamonds". The fur on her neck has a hook catch and also the fur bag had an imitated catch. Whether the fur accessories fits now a sleeveless dress and open shoes (same model as however with Danish in brown) or not, is probably matter of opinion. The most failed Candi so far, my opinion.

Her make-up is held in tender grey and tender lilac and the eyes are lilac-grey. The grey brows are unusual, looks however well to the hair colour. In coloured harmony she carries a silver-grey straight dress without sleeves, with V-decollete. Also this dress is made perfectly , completely lined, decorated with a silver "brosche" with glass brick and looks from the back as beautiful as in front. Over the shoulders she carries a white fur. Silver pumps complete the outfit. She owns a totally noble radiant emittance. In real she affects fewer strictly than on the picture.
All dolls are supplied with stand and, differently than sometimes the older models, they can moved the shoulder joints without any problems. The classical elegance of the dresses designed by Jason Wu is exciting! I'm totally hooked. Jeason did a great job on these dolls! The International line is, on my opinion, one of the most successful Candi series so far!

Wow! Thanks for the great reviews Silvana. I am still waiting on my Hispanic and Swedish girls. Out of everythin i've gotten so far my faves are the AA doll(of course) and the Gold Rush outfit, but i really like them all. I tried to order another AA but everyone seem to be sold out! Gee it's been so quiet here I'm so glad someone's postin! What does everyone else think of the new Candi girls? In my opinion Candi is at her best on the hands of Integrity toys, and I, for one can't wait to see what they come up with next year!

Your discriptions were wonderful. I felt like I was deboxing a doll myself. lol I've not been sure I want to buy any more Candis, but I may just change my mind after reading about these lovely ladies.
