Sorry for the cross-posting (and OT) but I am hoping that somebody out there has some advice for me on Silkstone Barbie head switching. I was doing a photo shoot the other day and my blonde Silkstone got bumped, fell over and her head broke off. It's amazing to me that Mattel uses such a thin piece of plastic to hold the head on this very heavy doll. Nonetheless, I need a blonde for a photo shoot so I need to put her head on another Silkstone Body. However, in attempt of head switching I don't want to break another neck knob. I plan on heating the head to soften it before removing, any more advice? If you have any disaster or success stories please share.
