I have been out of the loop for a while (in case anybody was wondering about me).
Anyhow, to update you all:
I fell ill last week with flu-like symptoms and the most incredible pains from head to toe. I had bacterial meningitis. Scared the hell out of everybody (including myself) but am incredibly lucky to have recovered. I just got out of the hospital yesterday, was in ICU for 4 days and in a regular room for 3. Just in my close group I had an aunt and my best friend has an aunt who were both left mentally and physically retarded, and another friend who's cousin died all of bacterial meningitis in the past. I can't even tell you how blessed I feel to have recovered. I am still trying to get my strength back and am taking some time off of school to rest.

Hi Randall, Thank goodness you are better. You had a perfect right to be scared. Take care and rest a lot. Glad you are taking some time off. I think time in ICU definetely deserves a new doll to play with. Make someone get you one! LOL. Or better yet, send me your address, and I will send you one. ( I am serious! )
