The general opinion on these are that they are complete rip-offs(like the older Retro Candi series) of exsisting Barbie dolls, in this case, the Silkstone. In fact, it looks like in the proto pics a lot of items came DIRECTLY from the Mattel sets w/ out any modification(ie. the shoes, and the purses and accessories). What baffles me is that Integrity is doing such an outstanding job of giving Candi a new image and I see what Hamilton/PD is doing is going to piss a lot of people off(and has already done so, it appears!)and in term turn A LOT of people away from Candi. This is quite the interesting subject. And also none of the Integrity dealers seem to associate themselves with the Hamilton lines. What are your thoughts on this? Is Candi going to fall back into old patterns?
