I think the mails are genuine. The email address is hers, and while it is easy to fake a sender address, the headers show that the mail did come from AOL. You cannot fake that; it has been sent via her account. Someone else (mis-) using her account also is unlikely since the writing looks very familiar.

It seems that this woman must know by now that this would be absolutely crazy to do yet again....why would she continue to make herself look so bad to collectors?

Is there a Darwin Award (*) for businesses? ;-)
