Hi!
I had been looking at the Yue Sai Wa Wa dolls in KB for a while now. I remember some of you bought them online and from QVC a while back. I had resisted the urge to purchase them because I wasn't very fond of the bodies. Well, I was in TRU and they had several really pretty versions of the doll and I broke down and bought one and then put her on a Barbie belly button body. I love the doll. I think that the face really captures a look that no other doll has captured before. Actually, I have a friend from Japan who I think is so cute (I haven't ever gotten over how darling she is) and this doll looks so much like her. I'll share pictures when I find an outfit that I like on her. BTW, has anybody seen or bought the Malibu repro? I've never been fond of the original Malibu Barbie but I am tempted to buy the repro. I think she would look good with a short flip do. I'd love to hear reviews on the Malibu Barbie!

Hi Randall
I can't wait to see a pic of your YSWW! I'm not brave enough to try swappiing heads etc. LOL. I do have one YSWW doll that I got as a gift and I love her. Very long, thick hair! I bought a new FA yesterday which I put on her - can't remember the name of the outfit but I have pics on my homepage in the 'other dolls' album.
Plus I've also got some new pics of the Candi's up as well as silkies - hope you all enjoy them. Link as follows:

Hi Lunar...
I love your new FA on Candis pics...GORGEOUS! I like checking out your site, it is like a fashion all the time...lovely!!
What is wrong with the Yue Sai Wa Wa doll's body?...I can't tell from the pics, as it looks okay to me. I would LOVE to pick up one of them!! I haven't been to our TRU yet, but I am hoping they carry them...
ALSO, on your other dolls page, Lunar...your new aquisition, the Paradise Doll...she's a Jakks Pacific G.I.R.L. Force doll. (She might be "Lola"...?) That e-Bay seller has AWESOME patterns for crocheting if anyone knows how to crochet...and she sells nude GIRL Force dolls in every hair shade. GREAT deal!
Lunar, if you're needing any fashions for your new doll...come check out my auctions (hee-hee)...
Have a great day!!
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth
Gald you enjoyed the new round of pics. I'll try and have some more new ones done next weekend. It's nice to try the same outfit on a different doll as they each give them their own unique look.
I thought that Paradise doll looked like the Jakks dolls. The seller just called them something different on their auction. My only problem is I don't have any clothes to fit her so she's freezing at the moment! LOL. I've no talent for sewing or crocheting or anything like that so I do rely on the FA's and those that can sew! I will have to check out e-bay and see what you've got for sale as well.
The only problem with YSWW doll is that her feet are a tad longer than Barbie or Candi so not all shoes fit her. Her legs aren't bendable either but otherwise she's lovely!
Regards
Lunar

Great pictures, Lunar! What did your Yue Sai Wa Wa come dressed in? Mine was a pink mandarin dress; knee length. Melissa

Hi Melissa
My YSWW is one called Braids and Treasurs and she came in a lovely purple and gold ankle length gown. She also came with an extra braid that you can attach to her hair for a different look and these cute little butterfly clips to decorate her hair with.

Hi, Randall! I own one Yue Sai Wa Wa doll. I found her at a Doll Show in Maryland. I have NEVER seen her in any stores around here. I really like her face & oriental outfit. Complements a lot of the other Asian fashion dolls... Melissa
