I already collect Barbie & Topper Dawns and I aways said I would NEVER collect any other dolls. Well, you know how that goes!
My Candi Collection started when I heard that Jason Wu was working with Integrity Candi! I knew how Incredibly talented Jason was because he used to post on Vicky's Barb Talk too! So I had to check the new Integrity Candis and I finally got to see them in person at a Doll show! And I just had to buy my first Candi - Cover Girl Candi - Raven Red Roses! Hi, Cindy! Welcome to Candichat! Sounds like you had a good Christmas with all those Candis. They are lovely, aren't they? I have the International Asian & the Holiday Toast Asian, also. I also have all 4 Cover Girl Candis & YES, the one you have is the African American head mold. (I think the Danish is actually my favorite.) I'm fairly new here as well, and everyone's been great--very friendly and helpful!
I post on VHOTN as well (Elizabeth and Elizabeth in BC), although I haven't during the Holiday Season (too busy).
I love and collect Candis, Charice, Alysa, Jade and Janay...as well as Barbie's and some of the larger fashion dolls. Although I don't collect them anymore...I still have all of my Topper Dawn dolls from when I was a girl. They are so lovely as well, aren't they?
I haven't got "Raven Red Roses"...yet...but I did get "Flores Rosada" and one of the dolls my boyfriend got me for Christmas was "White Blossoms". Your husband was very generous to get you those 4 Candis--excellent choices, too!

It's nice to meet you. I'm pretty new here too and like you, I've only recently caught the Candi bug so I've got a lot of learning and Candi chatting to do. LOL.
You take great pics too. I also have the Internatinal Asian and Hispanic as well as the AA. I was thinking of getting the HT Hispanic but the Asian looks gorgeous too with her bob. Ah so many wants, where do I begin? LOL.

You know I was the same way. I never gave Candi a second look until Integrity took over, when I first recieved the Flores Rosada doll I KNEW I was in love!
Your dolls are fantastic! I love the International line and the HT line so much, In fact I have 2 of the Asian ones one to redress. You should also check out Suzanne/Katy's Kollectibles exclusive "Winter Mist" fashion that is very limited from the International collection. And before I go HAPPY NEW YEARS ALL!!!! I hope this year brings ya'll much luck and joy! I CAN NOT wait to see what Integrity/Jason has in store for us this year. Suzanne any juicy gossip to share? ROFLMAO!
