Yes: The program contains a comment of the form
(* FLAG --extended-pascal --pedantic -Werror *)
which carries the flags that must be passed to the call to `gpc' for that the test makes sense.
Gee, this exactly mirrors the g++ testsuite. We spell it: // Special g++ Options: -pedantic -Werror
