Hello,
I couldn't find the answer anywhere on the website, FAQ, or mailing list archives:
Why isn't GNU Pascal integrated with the rest of GCC?
This is a frequently asked question. Googling for `GNU Pascal GCC integration' gave me a few relevant hits. I think that: http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/1999-05n/msg00358.html still holds (just change a few names). There are __much__ more such messages both on GCC and GPC mailing lists.
and the related question: What would it take to integrate GNU Pascal with the rest of GCC?
Short answer: more developers (and testers). -- Waldek Hebisch hebisch@math.uni.wroc.pl
