I don't think we should put old releases (i.e., <= 2.0, i.e "prehistoric" ;-) anywhere but in "old". Anyone who would get them and actually try to use them would seem to be a little insane. ;-)

or leave it where it is, and have a new "snapshots" directory for snapshots only.
