According to Laussy Fabrice:
lorentz[1][1]:=1;
where lorentz is defined as a type matrix in the var field, will make GPC crash.
This bug is fixed in more recent (beta) versions of GPC - and many others. (Yes, the next version is being worked on hard right now ...)
