HI All, The Fifth Ave. Fortuny looks great. Wasn't there a prototype of this lady in green too? I don't know if I will have to have this one, but it is pretty amazing to me that she is actually going to be produced. I did get my Winter Mist fashion on a doll ( The first outfit that came had a spot on the leg, but Suzanne took care of me, of course) I ended up putting it on the AA Shopping Chic doll, just because she happened to be standing around, and looked like she wanted to try it on. It looks great on her, but probably will look even better on a Candi. The host of the custom doll list I am on is going to be in town for the week of Christmas, and is coming to visit me, so I have been a wreck trying to get my doll room clean, and a gift done for her ( will share pics soon ) as well as finishing up a contest doll, and getting all those other Christmas things done. On top of that, I seen to have developed a MAJOR allergy to the Christmas tree. I am sniffling, and sneezing and wheezing all over the place. What we do to ourselves for Christmas. WHERE exactly on magmaheritage did you see that doll, I have looked twice now an still dont se it! I looked in there CANDI sction and coulnt see it and checked the Candi news that didnt have anything ether! TTYS Kevin

This isn't Candi related, but does anyone know someone, or know OF someone who makes fashions for Dawn dolls? My daughter is totally in love with my Dawn dolls, so I gave her a couple...now she would like some clothing, lol. Any help/suggestions are appreciated. How sad to hear the magazine is no more. I would sure like to see a fashion doll magazine, other than a certain one dedicated primarily to Barbie, become successful. There are so many great fashion dolls available now! Shoot, I still miss Miller's!!! Hi All! Me again! Since I've seen some interest, I'll do what Pat said and list everything. It'll take a while to write up, so give me a day or two. I'll kinda give you an idea of what I'll selling: complete MINT Miss America fashion Majestic Blue, Francie's Partners In Print in Pristine complete condition(really beautiful!) and Prom Pinks in Ex-condition MIB Barbie Beach Bus in English/French box Mint complete Walking Miss America '69 TNT brunette Flip Barbie in original diamond suit with FAB nail paint and '67 brunette TNT with slight ear paling(can hardly see it) Walking Ken Talking Ken and Barbie plus MIB Pool Party and about 20 outfits, including Lamb and Leather and Country Music I think... I'm kinda a spaz, but you get the idea. I'll post the whole list in a few. I also have some pink boxes and some Billy & Carlos dolls and fashions. Welcome Newbies! We're glad to have you join us. This group has some amazingly talented people, some who share photos of their doll makeovers, others who share photos of their fabulous dolly collections, many who provide hints and info about doll deals, and others who give us exciting news about new arrivals. It's a great place to come for doll lovers. I'm not so much a doll collector as I am a doll player. I debox everything! lol And there is no such thing as too many clothes! lol Recently I've gotten into accessories and wherever I go I'm always scanning for potential miniatures. Elizabeth, you said looking at your dolls calmed you. I'd never thought about that before, but I think I get the same type of pleasure from my dolls. I loved this diorama, Robin! I'm so glad you shared it with us. I confess to loving miniatures, too. It is so funny to think about how a doll collector can see, say a magnet for a refrigerator, as something so entirely different then what I'm sure the manufacturer had imagined, LOL! Thanks group, for your comments about my accessory display. Very supportive and validating. Non-dolly people don't "get it" and some are down right condescending about a grown woman playing with dolls . I don't make fun of stamp collectors or butterfly collectors... though, in truth, I don't "get it" lol Well, I'm heading off to Suz's site to see if any of those dollies you're talking about belong under my tree this Christmas.
