Thanks Suzanne for your posts about Helena's daughter, I too am a strong believer in positive energy, and prayer, and have a very special request. I just admited my husband to the local hospital, and he is in ICU. He has had emphasema for the past 12 years, and when I got him to the hospital today, his carbon dioxide level was at 98. yesterday's terror

Hello everybody. I am still totally shocked. Who on earth does such horrible things? I don't really have enough words to express my feelings yesterday and at this moment. My hopes and prayers are with everybody innocent involved in any way (injured, lost, families, firemen, policmen etc.). As someone else just said "I sincerely hope that all of our NY & DC members and their families are safe from this horrendous tragedy." Let us pray for the president of the United States to do the right thing to stop this horror. I am totally frightened about what these terrorists might do next. Thanks Suzanne for the updates. I cannot even conceive of the reasons for all this slaughter. I am in shock. We are 30 miles south of DC so haven't really been affected by the evacuations, etc. I'm praying for all the families & hope good news like below continues to filter in... I just got off the phone with Helena. Her daughter has been located at one of the hospitals and will be treated and released. I hope that we hear many more happy endings like this one. Let's keep that positive energy flowing! Suzanne

I will post whenever I learn the outcome. I was reduced to tears while listening to the sobs of a mother for her child and it really brought home how many unknown thousands will most likely be going through this very same scenario. I am so deeply saddened that, unfortunately, America will have another "Day of Infamy" for the history books. I am a firm believer in the effect of positive energy and group prayer. I sincerely hope that all of our NY & DC members and their families are safe from this horrendous tragedy. I am also asking for your prayers for the safety of Helena's daughter, Nina. She is a film major and was at the WTC filming when the tower collapsed. One of her friends was killed and she was in the hands of paramedics telling her mother they were preparing to give her oxygen when the 2nd tower collapsed. Communication was disrupted and Helena has not been able to get through to Nina's cell phone again, nor can she get to where Nina was. Helena's anguish is heartbreaking, as she knows nothing of the fate of her only child. Please pray for the well being of this young woman. I have confirmed that Percy, who was in NY for appointments, is okay. Suzanne

I meant to post this yesterday afternoon but I am busily shipping away. The International Asian and AA dolls plus all 4 of the International fashions arrived yesterday, along with the boxed Vintage collection. I will have some Danish International dolls on Monday or Tuesday of next week, and more the week after. I found out that the delay was caused by having to box the hats for the Danish dolls here in the states. Somehow it just didn't get done in Asia. As always, I am shipping by date of reservation but for those that include a Danish doll, I will be shipping after they arrive so no additional shipping charge is incurred. Rene asked for a review of the Internationals. They are G-R-E-A-T and the fashions are absolutely wonderful! The box for the Vintage dolls is darling. It is done with lots of artwork by Miki of the dolls on a yellow background. As soon as things slow down a little I intend to put a pic of it on the site so that you can see for yourselves. Back to work for me. Have a great weekend! I leave tomorrow for a doll show in Houston on Sunday. As always, I will again be glad to see any list members that make it there.
