I got the new Mystery Squad Kenzie at TRU. I am so impressed. The only modern Barbie that I have bought since the first year of the Gen. Girl dolls was a Silkstone. This doll has such a funky style. It seems like her hair gets bigger every time I look at her, I love it! This line sort of replaces the Generation Girl line and if you'll look at the dolls they do sort of bear resemblance to the Gen. Girls. AND Kenzie's jacket is actually tagged Generation Girl. Hi all, Well you all remember that the new Charice dolls HEADS were put onto old Candi Bodies or even the transisitonal ones, so that may be a factor into where those mysterious stains came from! ttys Kevin

Hi, Does anyone know if the Oxy10 will work on the vinyl of any doll? Or shoes? My 2 year old daughter got hold of a pen and wrote on her shoes and a baby doll's face! Also on the iron-on decal part of a cute t-shirt! I tried kitchen spray products, but hasn't come off any of these things yet! Laundry stain solutions don't work on the t-shirt iron-on either! Stained dolls??

Hi All, I got a Christmas baggie from PD and it has dark marks on it's arm in a couple places! I tried to take it off with comet cleanser and a "scrubby" but if wouldn't come off. I know about earrings turning green, etc. but this is new to me. Anyone have any ideas on what this is or if it is capable of coming off? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much, Karla

I love sales like this for the same reason. There are several projects that I like to donate to, for Christmas gifts especially. This makes it much easier to be able to give a nicer doll than might normally be feasable. I was so sorry to read about your problems, and will keep you in my prayers and send loads of healing energy your way. After the thread has been run through the sole, thread on a bead, cut the needle off and tie a knot in the end. Japanese shoes or "geta", which are traditionally worn with the Kimono, are really quite easy to make. The shoes have a simple paddle-like design with only a V-strap holding them on. Most of the items needed to make the shoes are things you probably already have on hand. Materials: Molding clay such as Fimo or Sculpey Matching embroidery floss (approx. 8" long) Beads Large sewing needle Begin by choosing the doll for which you will be making the shoes. Lay the doll on its side and trace the bottom curve of the foot onto a piece of paper. Now lay a ruler even with the flat (toe) part of the foot and draw a line all the way back to the heel. This will give you the curve you need to support the doll. Once your tracing is done, begin with an amount of the sculpting clay. Shape it first into the paddle-shape you want the shoe to have, the build up the bottom until it matches your drawing. With the large sewing needle threaded to the center of the embroidery floss, run the needle through the shoe base, approximately where the middle toe will sit. Do not pull the floss all the way through. Instead thread on a bead, cut off the needle and tie a knot large enough to keep the thread from falling back through the bead. Now take the ends of the floss, which should still be on the top of the shoe, and thread one of them onto the needle. Run the needle down the side of the shoe, approximately to the back part of the instep. Thread on a bead and tie off, just as before. Repeat for outside thread. Once the beads are in place, press them into the bottom of the shoe. Cover with a small amount of the clay, so that the beads are not visible. Wet the embroidery floss and then place in oven at temperature and times recommended on sculpting clay package.
