I need somebody to help me out. Please go to: http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewListedItems&userid=randall9 0&sort=3&since=-1&page=1&rows=25 or ebay search sellerid: randall90 and bring up one of my auctions and tell me if you can see any pictures. I use Geocities to upload pictures to use in my auctions. They are listed properly BUT the only time I can get the picture to pull up through ebay is if I have the picture open in another window through Geocities. Thanks to anybody who can help! Randall

Just gave me an idea, I have two large bookcases in the living room. I have been selling most of my books, and giving a ton of them away when these bookcases are cleared, I will dispaly some of my dolls in them. Take care Pat Feick

June, that is terrible, I can remember when I first started to buy on e bay and did not have a rating, then it takes years to build a rating and they loose it. I do sell Candi dolls and Kingstate shoes on e bay, but over the past 4 years 80% of my sales have been personal items from my collections, books, items for my daughter and friends. I have tried selling on Yahoo, and wind up not getting bids. I have never tried bidville, but I understand it is the same way. Used to sell on Amazon but had too many non paying bidders, and again very few sales. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of e bay, because it seems that is where everyone goes to buy. I recently tried yahoo again, and wound up loosing money after I paid all the fees because only 2 aucitons had bids. If I had a choice, I would stop selling on e bay altogether. My next project is to sell approximately 200 plus hallmark ornaments for my daughter. She has a collection of over 500 and has decided to downsize. I am going to try putting some on other autcion sites to see what happens. Have a great day Pat

Deboxing dolls

I agree with Suzanne, once you debox a few, it becomes easier and easier to display your dolls. I view dolls as art. I display my favorite dolls in small glass show cases. This way I can appreciate them every day. I just do not have a lot of space to display, or I would have every doll deboxed that I own. That is the reason I sold off a lot of dolls that I had to keep in closets due to not having room to display. Take Care Pat feick

The two story book dolls on the top shelf are awaiting my MIL and are not really part of my collection. Spring Cleaning

Eight years ago, we remodeled the whole house, at that time I sent a truckload to auction, and then I gave away, donated, and threw out everything that I had not used in the last year, and items that I felt I would not use for another year. Then for the next 7 plus years, it seems like I never threw anything out. Since Dick passed away in September, I have been donating, giving away and selling tons of stuff. I cannot believe how much STUFF I collected. So I really have been doing Spring Cleaning for the past 6 months. I have learned that we do not own STUFF it owns us. I am keeping a small amount of dolls that I collected, but I have sold over 300 on e bay. All of those dolls were packed in closets in boxes because I never had space to display them. CANDI BODIES!

Hi ALL, Candi has he same exact body she has had forever it seems, The ONLY thing INtegrity did when they took over production of Candi was they FIXED the STICKY arm problem so very common to the older Candi dolls so that they now move they way they should have all along! TTYS Kevin

All Candi dolls being produced use the original Candi body. I'm getting ready to leave town to do a show tomorrow in Plano, TX (just outside Dallas, TX).
