Vinegar and Staining/New Alysa/eBay problems?

Hello! I have a question for you all. Has anybody actually tried using vinegar to set the dye in doll clothing sucessfully? I bought the Mann's Chinese Barbie so Alysa could steal the dress. First of all I was disappointed to find that the dress was actually sewn on the Barbie! What was Mattel thinking? And the dress has stained the Barbie doll! I'm going to put Removi-zit on her tonight but I still want this dress for my other dolls. Also, just bought the new Heat Wave Alysa and WOW! The new smaller face mold is beautiful! Now I don't like the older Alysa dolls near as well ... I've checked to see what could be wrong several times and I don't find anything wrong with my listing, must be a problem with ebay. Randall

I especially liked Dramatic Debut but I think one of the reasons is that it also looks really good on a Silkstone and the jewelry reminded me of what came with the Vintage Commuter Set fashion. That jewelry has appealed to me since I was a child, LOL. I also really like Safari and find it versatile for doll use. Hmmm, guess this probably shows I love basic dark colors, even in my own wardrobe, :-) I would like to pass along that Integrity is now sold out of Cosmopolitan, Dramatic Debut, Mon Coeur and Safari. What is in the hands of dealers is all that remains. I am sold out of Mon Coeur and down to very, very few of the others. Thanks to those who tried to help. I had to sign up with AuctionWatch because geocities doesn't allow you to upload files for use on eBay. Apparently they never allowed it and I just didn't know and they just realized what I (and many others) was doing. Randall

Elizabeth, I really like the gowns your Step-Mother made! The material for the Bridal Gown is Beautiful! And what a good idea on the hat! I love how she made the jacket on the peach gown with the same material bias tape around it! Really nice! She did a wonderful job on these! Thanks for sharing! Hey Pat, Get used to that dust cause it takes weeks to settle out. We have been working on our house off and on for years, and it can really be a pain. We only have the living room left to do, but if you think drywall dust is bad, try 80 year old lath and plaster dust. Ugh. I am hoping to persuade hubby that OUTDOOR projects would be good this year. LOL Amazing what spring will make you get done though. I have been working on the garden, and now I need to get cracking on some of that spring cleaning stuff. Still need to get a few things done for convention, and have some swaps and projects that need to get done. Got to hurry before it gets too nice to stay inside anymore. The bags are cute. I wasn't sure what to expect when they were on the way and was absolutely delighted when I saw them on arrival. One customer who bought some of these, laughed at how excited I was while we went through them. I have to confess, though, I'm not sure to what you are referring to as the "shoezies things". Clarification, please, :-). The Kingstate shoes and boots fit dolls the size of Tyler, Gene, Alex. A great way to inexpensively increase their shoe closets, LOL. I hope everyone had a good Easter.
