LOL You guys try living in Central South Dakota and finding any Integrity dolls around here, we every couple years MAY and thats a BIG MAY get a couple of Alysa dolls if we are lucky, most all of the Integrity line I work with I hav either ordered directly from INtegrity or get them from Suzanne at DollDreams!! Couture Fashion OOAK for Candi

Hello all, The last time my step-mother visited me I lent her one of my Candi dolls (racy secrets) so that she could try making a OOAK fashion for her. She's a really awesome seamstress and desgins/sells women's high-end jackets, etc. Well, she made a Dupionni (sp?) Silk dress and matching jacket and put it up on auction in e-Bay. I thought I would attach a link in case anyone is interested in expanding their Candi's wardrobe or would just like to take a peek. Have a great weekend everyone!! Hi, all! I was in KayBee today & found all the Generation Girl dolls-some with the book & Generation Girl My Bedroom dolls on sale for $9.99. Like someone mentioned before, they had the My Bedroom Mari & Blaine as well which I never did see on the shelves before. They also had the When I Read, I Dream Jo & Fern dolls on sale for $9.99. I had to pick up Fern; she's such a cute redhead! Has anyone seen the new Disney Princess dolls at the Disney Store? They look like they were made by Jakks Pacific. I really like the Ariel doll; may have to go back & spend $16.50 for her. Melissa in MD

Damn, you mean we have to count the fabric and craft supplies as a collection? Rats! LOL I think we should send a psychiatrist over to Sisus, she is obviously NOT Normal! LOL I too envy you the space. My hubby would be tickled pink if I was like that. Of course he must collect things too, cause I keep finding piles of his stuff. At least I put mine away. I really enjoyed when I had my antique shop cause I could collect things and then sell them to someone else, but till I did, they were mine! Now that I have closed my retail shop, I have to curb some of those impulses. ( did I really buy 2 Steiff animals a couple months ago? I don't collect those!) Went and looked at the new Integrity stuff. Interesting playline dolls. Too bad there is absolutely no one who carries these in our retail area. I think it will be hard for Integrity to really be taken seriously as a rival for Babs till they are easily available everywhere. Our K-mart occasionally has some, but I bet ours will be one of those that closes, and don't even mention our TRU to me. I think the dolls are a lovely alternative to Babs grins, but I wish they would market them better. I don't mind ordering the collectors dolls, but the average parent won't see the playline and be able to get them for their kids till they are more widely marketed. Kathy M. Integrity preview has begun plus Jason's dolls yet again!

Good morning all! Some of the Integrity lines are now up on the site, with more to be added. Believe me, I haven't put the best up yet! There is a pic, though, of the new male doll, Tariq. The pic doesn't do him justice. He is a bald headed, AA hunk of a male doll. I also talked to Jason last night. When I told him that I had been told his dolls were 12.5" tall, he goes "no, no, no!" He says they are 12 1/4" tall, which is exactly the same height as the Silkstones. He says they will be able to wear Candi clothes but pants that hit right at the ankle will be a tad short. Pants with a longer cut like Winter Mist will work just fine. His dolls will not be able to wear Fashion Model clothing, however, because they aren't as slim bodied. We'll get this info all sorted out yet, LOL! Check the Integrity page off and on throughout the day as pics will go up as fast as I can get them there. I went through helping a friend move her dolls to a larger house a couple years back and know what you mean about making one look closer at a personal collection. Gracious, even moving to a larger area makes one realize how fast the space fills up and creates wonder as to how everything ever even fit into the smaller space to begin with, LOL! We collectors are either geniuses or nuts enough to manage finding one more inch of room to fit a new acquisition into, :-). Every single time I try to thin or cut back I find the pocketbook opening up for that next doll or whatever, that I just have to have. Trying to sell or give away for thinning becomes virtually impossible because if I wanted it badly enough when I bought it, or received whatever it is as a gift, like you, it remains precious and keepable in my eyes. My family constantly reminds me that I am a pack rat. Jason called this evening to see how the reception was to the new play line dolls and in particular, the new Janay head mold. When I read some of the comments that I've received on them, you should have heard the excitement in his voice. He manages a schedule that would have most people reeling and maintains an energy level that never ceases to amaze me, LOL. Thanks to all who took the time to express some of the wonderful things I have been able to pass on to him. It really makes the long days he puts in worthwhile when he knows he is still on track providing collectors with what they want in the dolls we love. Hello again! All of the Integrity 2002 play line doll pics are now up. Last night I also put up side by side pics of a 2001 Alysa and 2002 Alysa, as well as a 2001 Janay and 2002 Janay. Hopefully they will convey the smaller size of the Alysa mold to you and better show you the new Janay head mold. This morning I put up 2 pics of Mila, the new friend that was supposed to be produced in the play line this year. She may not be done but you have an opportunity to influence whether or not she is produced. If you want to pre-order her, by all means do so. Pre-order numbers will be passed along to the company to help determine if there is enough interest to proceed with her production this year. Now for a little tidbit that amazed me. The drop-dead gorgeous Mozambique Masquerade Janay collector doll will only be carried in 10 TRU stores! One of the stores will be the Times Square New York store but the other nine stores are unknown. I was left with the impression that even TRU doesn't know yet, that the other stores were in a "to be determined" status. What struck me as so strange about this is that the doll came about because of TRU. They wanted a high end collector Janay available and requested that one be done. Perhaps TRU is considering this a test market doll. I'm guessing but it sure seems like the only plausible theory that I can come up with. I've got to get with Percy again after he gets back into his office because I think this holds true for the Serengetti Sunset Janay as well but can't swear to it. My notes don't indicate availability on her and I can't remember for sure. Additionally, the way I understood it, TRU also ordered only blonde Alysas, so using the Embassy Ball Alsya as an example, the ones in TRU will have blonde hair, not brunette hair. I also learned that basically TRU only orders enough of the play line to stock what equates to only about 50 stores. No wonder the dolls are so hard to come by, or appear so briefly in the stores! Most likely with time we will see the major chains' buyers increasing this number but until then, it looks like a collector's best bet to be absolutely sure they get a doll that they want from the Integrity play line is to order her from the dealer of choice who carries them.
