Hi all!
I had several reports of black marks on the upper arms of these dolls come
in. All dolls are not affected but I reported this to Integrity, who in turn
took it up with the factory. What is felt has happened is that even though
the underside of the glove fabric was age tested to be sure no marks or
staining would be caused, the top side of the fabric was not. The factory
simply didn't take into consideration that the top side of the fabric would
come into contact with the vinyl …
[View More]where the fold was made at the top of the
glove. That was a boo-boo!
Here are the instructions relayed to me from Integrity. If you have Satin
Affair and/or Fashion Week, check your dolls to see if their are dark marks
on the upper arm edge of the gloves. If no marks are currently present, the
company now recommends removing the gloves to protect the doll's vinyl. If
dark marks are present, you may be able to remove them with just soap and
water but if this doesn't work, Integrity will replace the body for you at no
charge. All you need do is contact them via e-mail or phone shown on the
Integrity Toys web site at www.integritytoys.com
I don't believe the replacement bodies will be available until the end of
September but at least you know you can get one, if you need one. Once
again, I applaud the response by Integrity. Knowing they continue to stand
behind their product 100% makes purchasing an Integrity product such a joy!
As always with this kind of information, please feel free to share it with
other lists. You may forward the message from me in its entirety for
convenience sake. Integrity would like to know that as many consumers as
possible receive this information, so noone sits out there disappointed with
the purchase of these gorgeous dolls.
Thank you to those who reported the problem to me and to those of you who
will help make it known in other areas that there is a remedy!

Ok, I have to ask and it's probably been answered before and I wasn't paying
attention. Where did the bar set come from? Is it a Gloria playset? They
are very hot items on ebay right now.
Thanks,

Hi all!
Someone on this list said they'd be interested in seeing a picture of Samatha/Bewitched/Barbie with her stiff hairdo washed and brushed out. Finally got her dressed so I could take her picture... lol. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Hi, Elizabeth, Kevin, Lunar & Randall, thanks for your responses.
Lunar & Randall - Samantha is wearing the Spice Girl mini dress (good for you, Randall for picking one up at a flea market, you must have got a good price. lol) I'm not crazy about minis, but I adore the bodice on this dress, so I found another doll wearing a skirt made of the same fabric and teamed it up with the dress. I've attached a picture if you want to see the full outfit. I need to work on a better belt, but I'…
[View More]m not talented like those of you who can make wonderful outfits... sigh... Still, Samantha is happy with her new dress (better than her black witch outfit, lol) and she's waving hello and hopes you think she looks as swell as she feels.

I can't remember who mentioned this a while back,
saying they wanted the Samantha doll because of her
hairline(widow's peak) but I just wanted to add the
ALL 5 of the Hollywood Barbie dolls have the same
hairline (one of the things that attracted me to this
series)...You cannot tell until you have the actual
dolls that they have this hair line, as their
hair-styles hide that fact.
I think you can see it one this one though,

Hi all,
I really am a Mother to my 7 year old toy poodle named Giorgio. However, I am a real Grandmother to my stepdaughter's little girl, Emily and I also have alot of nieces and a new nethew . I'm hope I am not going to bore you all to death but there is something I wanted to tell you and mabe get some suggestions.
My Stepdaughter Angie, her Husband Dan and Emily live in Utah and I live in New Jersey so it's so hard not to have Emily with my husband and I, especially st the Holidays. …
[View More]Angie is a great step-daughter and she is always sending updated pictures and we talk alot on the phone. But, here's the thing - She is coming to visit this Wednesday (oh My God, that's tomorrow) and we will be with them Tommorow evening and Thursday until about 4:00. I AM A NERVOUS WRECK!! I never had any children so I feel like a fish out of water. I did see her when she was first born at 5 weeks but now she's going to be toddline all over the place now. Tomorrow night we wil will be picking Angie and Emily up from the Airpopt in Philadelphia and going straight to my Sister-In-Laws house for a little familiy reunion which is great ( she is a great hostess and I am not!) and then when we see her on Thursday they will be coming to my house to open Birthday presents (Emily will be 1 on August 10th) and then we are going to brunch! I know I am going to have trouble with conversation, etc, with Angie let alone the Baby!! I really want to enjoy this trip because I cannot get on a plane so I don't know when the next visit will be. Also, my living room is filled with porcelain dolls - some as big as 3 feet tall. They are anchored to the wall but all the other ones - also large enough that I have to have them standing - are just by my window in the living room. Mt friends think I should put the dolls "away" because of the baby coming but once my dolls are situated I don't like to disrupt them - Barbies and Candies are downstairs in their own little world,
Any suggestions from you Moms out there on topics of conversation or just suggestions on being a Grandmother. I am concerned about the dolls all over and I don't want to sound like a mean Grandmother saying, no Emily, no if she wants to grab onto one them. My step-daughter is not a doll person at all. This is supposed to be a fun time and I am ruining it with worrying so much! Hope I haven't bored anyone but I would greatly appreciate any info. you can help me with.

Nervous in New Jersey
