HI Randall, I had the very same thought! I thought right from the beginning that GIselle/Mila looked an awful lot like the Hispanic CANDI doll!! Would be interesting to know WHO did the sculpts for these dolls!! Looks much like Sandra Billottos work!! BUt couldnt say for certain! Thanks, Melissa for posting your reply from Integrity. They are such a wonderfully responsive company! I learned today that also available from K-Mart in addition to the Photo Hunt Mila is Color Rave Mila. I haven't seen reports of her being found yet but she is supposed to be out there from what I was told today, so you may want to keep checking the stores. Her hair color is the same as will be used on the Color Rave Jade dolls, if you want to reference the color from the Jade pic on my site. It's blue with a pink streak. I was also told that the Mila head mold was used because of the short lead time for production. Next year when Giselle appears, she is to have a brand new head mold and the Mila head mold will be used only for Mila dolls. BTW, the Justin in the Wedding Set with Giselle currently uses the Alejandro head mold but I also learned that next year they plan on doing a brand new caucasian male head mold!!!! The new mold will then be Justin. Gads, hope all that is clear, LOL. I can get some of the Photo Hunt and Color Rave Giselles but not until the first part of September. For those of you who want one and don't have any K-Mart stores in your area, or you are overseas, if you want to preorder one from me, please let me know. Karla, Yes, she is interested in dolls already! Every time she sees the dolls, she says "Barbie, Barbie...." I have mostly Barbie dolls, OOAKs, but she also calls the Genes "Barbie" as well. Luckily, most of my expensive ones are out of her reach (for now anyway)! But for right now, she is more into cuddling with her own baby dolls and mimicking me with her little brother (who is 6 months)! She tries to change her dollies diapers and puts them in the baby swing and walker! Hello and goodmorning, I have so many new dolls (and no room) LOL. I just got my order from Suzanne. First of all, I have to comment on my (Jan Mclean) Lollipop doll. I ordered Pipi, she is the cutest little thing! I reccomend that you all take a look at these dolls if you haven't already. I just can't get over how darling she is. I ordered just one so I could see how the hair was rooted, how the joints were dones, quality, etc. Well, I am very impressed. I am getting all of them (but unfortunately that also means that I have to talk myself out of some other things to pay for them). I can't even stand the thought of not owning all of the Lollipop girls. Also I got lots of new Integrity dolls. Embassy Ball Alysa, Janay, and Mila, I like them all. Alysa is nice because she's the first Alysa that I've had with black hair, she really looks great in her original outfit. This new Janay face mold looks great with flocked hair! Global Peace and Photo Hunt Janay share the same face paint (or at least the ones I got from Suzanne do). I went to KMart this morning and fount Photo Hunt Alysa, but she's not the same as mine, she's the same doll as the Heat Wave Alysa. But I also found Photo Hunt Giselle! And they had the bridal set with Giselle and Justin! It's all so confusing. I haven't even opened all of them yet but I hope to have Michael take some photos once I do.
