Is Helena doing this (breaking off with Integrity) so that she can sell Candi with Paul David/Mikelman again (now that they have "made up")? Crystal

>What a soap opera! Isn't that the truth. I wasn't going to chime in on this one but I can't resist. I was a Candi collector since Mikelman was designing for the line (the first time around). There has been such an unbelievable amount of drama with Candi since those days. I remember the first chapter when a lot of collectors were turned off by Helena and they sold their Candi dolls. At that point I thought it was silly to sell your Candi dolls just because of the creator's bad business ethics. A few chapters later I was very disgusted and sold most of my Candi dolls just because I was tired of all the drama related to the name. And at that time I had a large Candi collection. I kept a few but I haven't bought any since. Don't get me wrong, I think that Integrity/Jason Wu have done some fabulous Candi dolls, the best to date .... but I decided to close off that part of my collection and have never went back to it ever since. I would currently like to just focus on my Silkstones and Fashion Royalty (although to be more realistic it would be anything by Jason Wu and not just FR, LOL). How much drama does one really need in their life? Randall

In Helena's case, it's always hard to know what she's referring to. I don't know if she means the recently released Candi Basics or if she thinks that Integrity is using the Candi face molds on some of their other lines. Must be hard to live that paranoid. Percy of Integrity Toys is a good, fair, and respected businessman so Helena's barking up the wrong tree on this one. Then again as Kevin, Rene, and Pat have pointed out, haven't we heard this same stuff before? Never have I seen such a nice quality product derailed by its own creator in such a self-destructive manner. Bizarre to say the least. parcel + update

Hi all! Last week I got a big parcel from DD&CT! *yeah* The fantascticSublime Elegance Candi, the verry noble Lush Life Véronique and 3 different Basic Candis (Raven, Sunkissed and Burning Blaze). Other newcomers are the Tango Set und a James Bond 007 Ken. Both really handsome guys! These dolls aren't part of my actual update, they will come with the next. But the dolls delivered before, are under CANDI and the Xmas presents I got under SWAPS 2003/4 + 5. Under BARBIE you can see two new faces. I photographed 3 new DIAORAMAS and sewed two new CITY FASHIONs. The albums of Daniela and Sabrina unter LINKS are updated too. My Dear Ms Hamilton, YOU lady are so full of it its not even funny, IF you would even bother to check your FACTS before sending out CRAP like this you would already have KNOWN that INtegrity Toys announced a LONG time ago that it was not going to be producing anymore of the CANDI line and that the BASIC's line was only made from extra head/body's that were left over from that production lines they were producing. NOW MS Hamilton I for the life of me cant figure out WHY you would want to revoke the licensing you gave to Integrity to produce the Candi line especiallu so since theie Candi line of dolls was by FAR SUPERIOR to the crappy lines you had TRYED to put out. The INtegrity line had WELL FITTING clothing UNLIKE ALOT of the clothing your company had put out and the facial screenings were by FAR MUCH superior to whoever had been doing them for you. All in all I think that Integrity Toys put out some of the most beautiful and lovely CANDI line of dolls EVER MADE!! Ms. Hamilton you are cutting off your own nose to spite your face by terminating the agreement with INtegrity, when all they did was BREATH NEW LIFE into the Candi line by producing HIGH QUALITY DOLLS. Not a SMART business move on your part and I dont think I am alone in this feeling! Kevin Kilmer

DIGEST MAIL

Hi, Does anyone know if there is a way to view individual CandiChat mail. I get the Digest, and sometimes when I open the individual mails within the digest, they won't open. With other mailing lists that I have on Digest, I open the Digest e-mail, and all the mails are there. But with this group, I have to open each separate one after the Digest e-mail is opened. I guess I'm wondering if there is a web site to go to, like with YahooGroups....in order to read mail that I may have missed? Thanks. Crystal

Hi All, First off sorry for cross posting here but its the easiest way to catch everyone up the quickest. I am back from my trip and my surgery and I thank each and everyone of my dear friends for their love and support and prayers. I am HAPPY to say that my surgery was successful and that everything they removed was benign so I am thanking the almighty for that, this has been a scary couple of months but there seems to be light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. It will take me a couple weeks to get back up and going but I am gonna TRY and rest up for a couple of days as I am kind of sore so things will be slow for a little while for me and then get back to some of my long overdue projects. Well Its good to be back home myfriends and when I go back to the doctors in a couple weeks to have the stitches removed I am keeping my fingers crossed that will be the last time I have to see a doctor for AWHILE!! Glad to be back amoungst all my friends! ttys Kevin

Hi Pat, I was trying to say that I got the June Birthstone gown off of the Ninimomo site; they were selling clothes that they took off of dolls that they were going to make OOAKs. They must've found somewhere to buy the Birthstone dolls, and promptly took off their gowns! But sure, you can see the Ninimomo gown! Or do you mean the actual Ninimomo OOAK dolls?
