Not sure if all stores have this sale going on.But Kaybee has a Buy One Get One Free on some of there dolls I was told earlier today.I know it includes My Scene Dolls & other dolls,Sorry I do not have more details. Jan

Was just at Wal Mart today and found several of the Birthsone dolls, Emerald Ruby and one more (I forget which one). They are really pretty, I was temped, but I cannot get over all that tacky glitter. I was also tempted by some of the Integrity girls for $7.00 BUT I have no room and not a large budget for dolls so I'm going to have to stick to the Fashion Royalty and Silkstone lines for a while. All that glitters gets irritating

Hi guys, Why does Matell insist on glitter? I hate %#$* glitter! It's a mess. I'm ranting cos I bought one of those new birthday dolls and the dress was really pretty. It's lined, beautifully constructed, has snaps instead of velcro. Even the jewlry has a little s clasp so it can be removed. You would think Matell would stop when it does a fab job. NO! It had to sprinkle the whole thing with glitter. Grrrrrrrrrrr I soaked it, melted the glue and scraped it off, and finally ended up with a halfway decent dress, but it could have been a perfect if Matell would just let go of the damn glitter thing. I redressed Horse Riding Babs in it. Gave her a new do, too. Sorry for the rant. Hi Crystal, and others who might be interested in the Birthstone dolls: They had four, I think. (I recall red, green, blue, white). I was after July (my birthstone). I loved her red hair from photos, but in person I didn't care for her red eye shadow. These dolls are color-coordinated, their make-up matches their dress. All seem to have the same facial screening. I ended up choosing June. She was blonde with brown eyes, smokey eye makeup and pale lips. Do you think people will have a tendency to collect them all and keep them in their boxes? I'm a player, so of course I deboxed her immediately, cut her hair, and gave her an articulated body and she's now in my play group. She came with a shani body, which I don't care for. As I said in my other email, the dress is beautifully made, but the glitter is extensive. Although I scraped it off, there is still glue residue left, although once dry it gives the dress some structure and isn't sticky. Hello, I have been wanting to share some doll clothing with you all and I finally finished the photos! Please take a look and let me know what you all think. I have made all of these items myself. These are made for the slim bodied dolls like the Silkstones and the Shani body BUT they will also fit the newer Barbie body (w/o twist waist, the skirts are a bit tight but they will work). These will not fit Candi but if any of you are interested you can put in an order for any of them in Candi's size. Lilac top is made of a very lightweight crepe. It is a halter style top with a very low neckline. It is fitted with two front darts and completely lined in white taffeta. Black below the knee length skirt is made of a lightweight wool crepe and is lined in black satin. Skirt is fitted with two front darts and features a slit in the center back. Silver belt closes with a lobster-claw. $20.00 for the whole ensemble. This suit is made of a very lightweight wool crepe. Jacket has a V-neck, sleeves flare out just slightly, and beads along the center front appear as though they are buttons (jacket actually closes with snaps). Black below the knee length skirt is made of a lightweight wool crepe and is lined in black satin. Skirt is fitted with two front darts and features a slit in the center back. Lush Life & Aria

Hi all, I received my doll order from Suzanne on Friday and was never so thrilled as with "Lush Life." She is unbelievably gorgeous. The clothing are top of the line - everything is perfect. Had this have been a Barbie (such as Portrait in Taffeta, etc.) it could have easily been priced for over $100!! The jewelry is so beautiful - everything fits perfectly and nothing was spared in making this doll. She is FANTASTIC!! She comes is a beautiful box that actually opens and closes with magnets!! Then there is Aria - What a doll!! She is also gorgeous in a different way. Her face is beautiful and her outfit is not to be believed. She has a totally "drop dead" look! The packaging is one of the best I have seen. She is standing by a tall silver "pole" with red "lights" showing through and there are chairs in the background as if she was in a club. Having trouble de-boxing, this one has been particularly hard for me to de-box but I already ordered another one so I could still have one in the box. She is so much fun to play with - with the jointing in her wrists and hands being jointed there are so many possibilities with this doll. I just can't say enough great things about both of these dolls. Has anyone ordered and received theirs? I can't wait to hear what everyone else thought. Karla
