If GrCreateContext(); is mallocing the memory space and malloc
fails, does the returned GrContext variable == NULL or what else
would indicate a failure?
Cheers Richard
Hi all!
Thanks Anja for the grx.pas...

In grx-2.3.1/include, I have something named "grx20.h"?...
So, I have put grx.pas where I want to compile fgraph.pas but, it still not
working...
gpc --automake -o fgraph fgraph.p -lgrx20X -lX11
fgraph.p:37: module/unit interface `Grx' could not be imported
When I compiled grx.pas, I have grx.o and grx20.gpi.
So, I tried to renamed grx20.gpi in grx.gpi and now the message is:
gpc --automake -o fgraph fgraph.p -lgrx20X -lX11
ld: fatal: library -llibgrx20X: not found
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to fgraph
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Thanks for your help,
Nathalie

the library is still not found...
Is it normal that the message says:"ld: fatal: library -llibgrx20X: not
found" instead of "-libgrx20X"?...

Even with the right path, the compilation failed... libgrx20X.a*really
exists in this path...

I have corrected in grx.pas "unit GRX20" in "unit GRX" but the error message
is still the same...

If I put
{$L libgrx20X}
between Program fGraphs and uses GRX,
the following message appears:
fgraph.p:37: module/unit interface `Grx' could not be imported
>(may be already present in `grx.pas')
I don't have any grx.pas?...
If I put
gpc --automake -o fgraphs fgraphs.pas -lgrx20X -lX11
or
gpc --automake -o fgraph fgraph.p -L /usr/local/lib -libgrx20X -lX11
the following message appears:
fcourb.p:37: module/unit interface `Grx' could not be compiled

I guess I have to put the path to the library libgrx20X.a instead of "GRX"?
That is to say /usr/local/lib.
But where and how?
Thanks,
Nathalie

Hello all!
So, I think the installation is more or less ok now. The running of the test
programs seems to work.
But, now, I have no idea of how to do to generate some graphs from data
files?...
Is there a grx documentation which explain how to use it?
Nathalie

Maybe you are right...
I have downloaded grx-2.3.1.tar.gz again but I can't manage to unpack it.
I type
tar xvf grx-2.3.1.tar.gz (Unix)
and the following message appears:
tar: directory checksum error .
What is the problem?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Nathalie
