Error "Can't find suitable video mode" on framebuffer only build

I finally had the grx work with both svgalib/framebuffer and x11 builds on SUSE 11.0. But I got the video mode not find error for framebuffer only build. The project compiled successfully but failed on runtime during setting to graphic mode. I used GrCurrentVideoDriver() to check the video mode and got total 80 video modes returned. Except the default that gives me valid width and height(80, 25), all the other ones returned (0,0). What should I do now? How to exit demogrx

Maurice, Many thanks for the help. The way to exit console is the combination key "Alt + F7". I am sorry for asking this simple question that is not related to GRX. Now I got some experience and had GRX work for both Linux console (with svgalib and framebuffer) and X11. Eventually we'll need GRX for embedded compiler Nios2Linux (or UCLinux). I am wondering if the Linux console with framebuffer only would reduce some overhead from using svgalib. (Any idea on how to use the combination will help.) Now I successfully build GRX with framebuffer but run into "Can't find suitable video mode" error when running the demo. I just posted the question with another thread yesterday. How to exit demogrx

Hi, I am new to Linux as well as graphics driver/lib. I compiled the test program with no problem in grx with default config settings against Linux console. But I don't know how to exit the demogrx program after I run it. I can't see the mouse or any other sign that would lead me out of the black console screen with the sample grx test window.
